Plastic buttons and a fabric covered button

In modern clothing and fashion design, a button is a small fastener most commonly made of plastic or frequently of seashell which secures two pieces of fabric together. Again, buttons are sewn onto garments and similar items for purposes of ornamentation. Though they are attached to articles of clothing, they can be used on containers such as wallets and bags. Buttons come in different types of materials, shapes and colours.

However, some people have gone beyond clothing departments in using buttons to make various crafts. Using buttons is a great way to use your creativity and imagination while adding a bit personality to your home.
